Our Goal
Here at Cactus Quarter Horses our goal is to raise smart, athletic horses that are versatile in reining, cutting, roping and any kind of ranch work from sorting to gathering cattle.
| Our Specialties
Training Our training program begins when the colts are born. All our colts are handled on a daily basis for at least one month, and are halter broken at this time. By the time they are two year olds, they have a good 60 to 90 days on them and are well on their way to a show career. Breeding Our breeding program consists of good quality mares crossed with some of the best cow horse bloodlines in the world such as Smart Lena Boon, Smart Little Lena, Dual Pep, Peptoboonsmal, Freckles Playboy, Docs Hickory, Shining Spark, and Peppy San Badger. |
